Why Kumbh Vivah / Arka Vivah?
When Mangal dosha is very strong, a symbolic marriage is performed before the actual wedding: Kumbh Vivah (with a clay pot representing Lord Vishnu) for women and Arka Vivah (with the Arka plant) for men.
This is believed to absorb the harmful effect of the dosha so that the real marriage is protected.
Spiritual significance
This ritual is described in the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra as a remedy for widowhood yoga and strong Manglik dosha.

Frequently asked questions
I do not know my gotra. Can I still book?
Yes. When the gotra is not known, the sankalp is traditionally taken in Kashyap gotra, as Rishi Kashyap is considered the father of all. Just leave the field empty.
How will I know the puja was done in my name?
Your name, gotra and wish are read out during the sankalp. You receive the live link or the full recording on WhatsApp, so you can see and hear it yourself.
Can I include my family members?
Yes. Choose the Couple, Family or Joint Family package and add every member’s name in the booking form. All names are included in the sankalp.
When will I receive the prasad?
The prasad box is dispatched within 2–3 days of the puja and usually arrives within 5–7 working days anywhere in India.
Can the pandit come to my home instead?
For most poojas, yes. Choose “Pandit ji at your home” and enter your address. Our team will confirm the pandit and timing on call.
What if I need to change the date?
Message us on WhatsApp at least 48 hours before the puja and we will move it to the next suitable muhurat at no extra cost.
